About
“A world of passion, creativity, excitement and temptation. It's all about food.”
Nouskhais a food blog born from a love of deep flavour, family heritage, and the joy of cooking without boundaries. Whether it's the bold spices of an Indian curry, the delicate balance of a Vietnamese broth, or the rustic soul of Italian pasta, every dish here is an invitation to explore the world from your own kitchen.
The name (pronounced noos-kha) is a linguistic bridge between mind and plate. Nouscarries meaning across languages — common sense and wit in English, “us” in French, “mind” and reason in Greek. Kha is simply the Hindi word for eat. Together: eating with intention and soul, as a collective.
The name is also a quiet echo of nuskha— the Hindi and Urdu word for recipe, technique, or remedy — a nod to heritage and the belief that a great recipe is never just instructions. It's a secret passed down, a technique mastered, a piece of history preserved.
Great food should be accessible to everyone at the table, which is why many recipes here are gluten free. Everything is real-kitchen tested, heritage-inspired, and flavour-first — because taste is what always brings us back.
Grab a seat, bring your appetite, and let's find your next favourite nouskha.
